Works in Progress

It goes that I am a writer, and so, it follows that I must have a collection of manuscripts, half-finished short stories, several bad poems written on beer-stained napkins and numerous ideas running around in my head like little kids. As any writer knows, ideas come into fruition on the page. And then, at that point, it is the writer’s job to ensure that all these manuscripts and half-finished projects don’t end up collecting dust on the shelf.

And so, here are the projects I’m working on. There’s more, to be sure, but this is what I’m ready to tell you about so far.

The Faces That Don’t Belong

A terrifying tale about an illegal face transplant. Scheduled for release in January 2012. Book Summary

 Caduceus

Does a friendship that’s treated like a football ever break? Two friends find out when their friendship is put to the ultimate test. Scheduled for release in Spring 2012. Book Summary

Untitled NaNoWriMo project

NaNoWriMo is an annual tradition where the scribes of the world gather round and put pen to paper, fingers to typewriter, and furiously pound out 50,000 words during the month of November while mopping sweat from their brow. Hey, no one said writers were normal. And sorry, but there is no book summary for this new project. That’ll have to come later, when the book actually comes into existence.

WOW……what a great way to start your decade of the 40’s! Congratulations! This is very exciting……..0f course I will send it on to all my friends….

Today, just as it was 40 years ago, the sun is shining and the golden and red leaves are beautiful against the brilliant blue sky – that very special event, 40 years ago, is certainly one of the reasons for autumn being my favourite season!

    With love from your Mum

    1. Thanks Mom! I don’t quite remember that day myself – strange that one of the biggest days of our lives is rarely remembered – but I can picture it in my mind.
